Estimates, not quotes
Prices on this site are figures published by named industry sources, dated when we last checked them. The calculator multiplies those published rates by an area you enter. Your roofer's written quote is the price that counts.
Rules change
Licensing, approval, asbestos and contract rules are set by government bodies and can change without notice. We summarise official pages in plain English and link to them, but the authority's own page governs. Confirm anything that affects your job with the relevant body before you rely on it.
Not advice
Nothing here is legal, planning, building or financial advice. Roofing, asbestos removal and building work must be carried out by appropriately licensed people.
Referrals
If you ask for quotes, we pass your request to roofing businesses. They may pay us a fee for that introduction. You are never charged by us, and you are under no obligation to accept any quote. We do not vet, endorse or supervise the work of any business we pass a request to.
